Once upon a time there was a cardboard box that contained green peas. At first. Then, when they had been eaten, something else was put in the box: a little tomcat, so small that he could fit in one hand. A present for Petersson. That's how fairy tales begin. And old Petersson had a feeling like when you pull up the blinds on a summer morning and the warm sunlight streams in. The tomcat cannot yet speak and he is not wearing trousers, but one day, while reading the newspaper, the time comes: "I want a pair of trousers like that too," says Findus. What a wonderful tomcat Pettersson has got!
