Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is intended exclusively for consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their independent professional activity. A business is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, is acting in the course of its commercial or independent professional activity.

Contractual Partner, Conclusion of Contract, Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Schuhbidu. By placing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You can initially place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained in the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after submitting your order.

Contract Language, Contract Text Storage
The language(s) available for concluding the contract: German, English. We store the contract text and send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions in text form. For security reasons, the contract text is no longer accessible via the internet.

Delivery Conditions
In addition to the stated product prices, shipping costs may apply. You can find more detailed information about any applicable shipping costs in the offers. Furthermore, you have the option of collecting your order from Schuhbidu, Waldenburger Str. 63a, 09116 Chemnitz, during the following business hours: Mon-Fri 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Payment
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop:

Prepayment
If you select prepayment, we will send you our bank details in a separate email and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.

Klarna - Instant Payment (Credit Card)
When placing your order, you provide your credit card details. After your verification as the legitimate cardholder, the payment transaction will be processed automatically and your card debited immediately after the goods are shipped.

Klarna - Pay Now (Direct Debit)
After successful address and credit checks during the order process, you grant the online payment provider Klarna a SEPA direct debit mandate when you submit your order. Klarna will inform you of the debit date (so-called pre-notification). By submitting the direct debit mandate, Klarna instructs your bank to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is carried out automatically, and your account is debited. The debit occurs after the goods have been shipped. For payment processing via Klarna, Klarna's terms and conditions and privacy policy apply in addition to our terms and conditions. You will find further information during the order process.

Klarna - Purchase on Account:
In cooperation with Klarna AB (www.klarna.de), Sveavägen 46, Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the option of purchasing on account. Please note that Klarna invoices are only available to consumers and that payment must always be made to Klarna. PayPal, PayPal Express:
During the order process, you will be redirected to the PayPal website. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered with PayPal or register first, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction to us. After you place your order in our shop, we will request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will then be carried out automatically by PayPal. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.

Cash on collection:
You pay the invoice amount in cash upon collection.

Credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro):
This payment method requires a valid credit or debit card. We reserve the right to verify the validity of the card. You can find more information about our payment processor here.

Retention of title:
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

Transport damage:
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such damage to the delivery driver immediately and contact us without delay. Failure to submit a complaint or contact us will have no consequences for your legal rights and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, it will help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance company.

Warranty and guarantees
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, the statutory warranty rights apply. For used goods, the following applies: if the defect appears after one year from delivery of the goods, warranty claims are excluded. Defects that appear within one year of delivery of the goods can be asserted within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods. The aforementioned limitations and reductions of time limits do not apply to claims based on damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents:

• in the event of injury to life, body, or health

• in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty or fraudulent intent;

• in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations)

• within the scope of a guarantee promise, if agreed; or

• to the extent that the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is applicable.

Liability:
We are always liable without limitation for claims arising from damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents:
• in the event of injury to life, body, or health
• in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty
• in the event of a guarantee promise, insofar as agreed; or
• insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is applicable.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), due to slight negligence on the part of us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, our liability is limited to the amount of the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract at the time of its conclusion. Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.

Dispute Resolution:
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here. We are prepared to participate in out-of-court dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
