Tonies are listening figures for the Toniebox. They make listening tangible, because you use them to operate the Toniebox. But you can also collect them and play with them. To listen to the music, you simply place the listening figure on the Toniebox.

The children of Bullerbü play from morning to night and never run out of ideas. They compete to hold their breath and pull Ole's tooth while he is sleeping. They fish and catch crabs and dance around the Midsummer Tree. Because it is as Lisa says: "Nowhere is it as beautiful as in Bullerbü!"
